Change Your Louisiana Registered Agent Online

Online Statement of Change Instructions

Step 1: Go to the Louisiana Secretary of State online Statement of Change portal.

• You will need your Charter or Trade Number
• Forgot your number? Look up your Charter Number.

Step 2: Make sure the business listed is correct, and Click “File Amendment.”

Step 3: Select “Statement of Change ($25)” and Click “Continue.”

Step 4: From this page, you can now make changes to your Registered Agent. Be sure to enter the information correctly. Click “File Statement of Change.”

Step 5: The next page will allow you to make changes to Officers/Members if needed. Click “Next.”

Step 6: Proceed to the Signature Page. Typing your name in the Signature box represents your legal signature. Click “Next.”

Step 7: This final page allows you to double-check your information.

Step 8: Click “File/Checkout.” The next page is the Payment page. Enter your Credit Card information and your email address.

Step 9: Select “Purchase Item.”

Step 10: You should now see a “Display Receipt” button. Your filing is complete!
